Job Description
A leading company in the crane industry is seeking a Warranty Logistics Clerk to process warranty returns and handle all packing and shipping tasks. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, reliable professional with strong communication and organizational skills. Reporting directly to the Warranty Manager, the new hire will support smooth warranty operations by processing returned parts, preparing shipments, and tracking inventory needs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and upholding a professional, punctual work ethic.
Salary: $21-22/hr

Responsibilities:
- Pull and pack parts orders accordingly.
- Maintain accuracy of orders packed.
- Pack orders for durable shipping modes.
- Add freight costs/Tracking Info in BAAN (Parts ordering system).
- Deliver orders in BAAN.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts in a safe manner and maintain certifications.
- Assist with core/reman parts program when needed.
- Print Delivery Notes in BAAN to adhere to corresponding packages.
- Ensure that all incoming returned orders are received are processed daily. Notify correct parties when orders cannot be completed within the same day.
- Perform shipping tasks with the use of UPS WorldShip/Fed Ex/YRC and similar programs to ship packages and maintain tracking information.
- Print UPS end of Day Report to be handed in to Warranty Manager and forwarded to Service Coordinator in Houston at the end of each day.
- Responsible for ensuring the pickup by UPS/ Fed Ex/YRC or other carriers etc. of packages that are ready to ship daily. (Overtime is acceptable to enforce this policy if needed).
- Maintain and inform management of consumables requests (such as packing material/tape/warehouse supplies).
- Assist when needed for stocking of large incoming warranty stock orders.
- Promote a safe work environment by following established safety procedures.
- Assist with labeling all returned parts.
- Assist with Check in returned warranty parts to confirm condition and accuracy.
- Organize parts, labeling and documentation process by warranty category.
- Keep warranty storage areas neat and compliance with LUS cleaning guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED and at least one to three years of relevant experience
- Demonstrates initiative to visualize, organize, manage, and complete projects in individual and group settings
- Ability to interface with all levels of staff
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Operate authorized equipment such as forklifts, lifting devices as required
- Proficiency in PC based word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to multi-task while completing work in a competent and professional manner
