A leading law firm is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Collector collect on past due property tax accounts. The ideal candidate is a goal-driven and resourceful communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to navigate complex client needs.

• Utilize various skip tracing techniques and collection strategies to locate the right parties.
• Responsible for outbound/inbound calls – communicating with individuals regarding their account.
• Locate and monitor overdue accounts, notify customer of delinquent accounts.
• Persuade customers to pay amounts due, set payment arrangements, set up payment schedules.
• Manage email inbox, voicemails, and all communication logs to follow up with customers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Bilingual in Spanish required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous consumer collections experience is required.
• Flexibility to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm; Availability for overtime as needed
• Basic computer skills and math skills required.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, HIPAA, state and local collection laws and the ability to be licensed in all states is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
