Job Description

A fast-growing provider of IoT products and digital healthcare solutions is seeking a Business Development Representative to acquire and manage new client relationships while driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven sales professional with experience in offshore software and hardware development services. Communicating effectively, the new hire will expand the company’s client base by building strong relationships with decision-makers and executing targeted business development strategies while conducting market research to identify new opportunities and support long-term growth.

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and needs.
  • Grow the business from existing network and develop long-term relationships with clients.
  • Drive positive engagement through industry events and networking.
  • Identify opportunities for new business and implement expansion.
  • Being well versed on all company products and services, competitive intelligence and industry information.
  • Maintain accurate records for prospects and customer orders.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet potential clients through a well-maintained network.
  • Cold call for potential opportunities within the geographic or market area.
  • Identify the decision makers of the potential client’s organization.
  • Set up and arrange meetings between decision makers on the client and company side.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Sales/Business Development experience in software offshore development services 
  • Experience with Custom software, Web/Mobile app development sales
  • Visiting clients onsite or virtually may be required to provide demonstrations, conduct meetings with decision-makers, etc.
  • Proven track record of Sales/Business Development success in similar companies that provide offshore software/hardware development service - Mandatory
  • Motivated and driven individual with a passion for sales
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate concepts clearly
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to build and manage relationships with prospective clients
