Job Description

A prominent company specializing in turn-key liquid and dry solid compounding, toll manufacturing, and private label packaging services within the chemical industry is looking for a Liquid Packaging Operator (Chemicals) to assist with packaging production within the Rosenberg facility. The ideal candidate displays decision-making and excellent judgment skills and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices within a warehouse environment. Maximizing productivity, the new team member will ensure smooth production operations by effectively performing activities following all safety, compliance, and environmental requirements aligned with company standards.

Location: Rosenberg TX, 77471
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire 

Schedule:
  • 1st shift Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM (OT)
  • 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:30PM - Midnight (OT) 

Responsibilities:
  • Operate pailing, jugging, dry packaging, and other packaging equipment.
  • Stack and unstack cases consisting of 50+ pounds of products.
  • Maximize productivity by working in an efficient manner.
  • Operate forklifts as well as smaller motorized and manual hand trucks.
  • Store and retrieve materials located within the warehouse.
  • Maintain work areas and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
  • MUST have forklift experience (Sit-down, Standup, pallet jack)  
  • Must be able to pass a physical and be respirator fitted (Must be willing to shave for fit-test) 

Requirements:
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Experience in warehouse/ manufacturing environment
  • Forklift certified
  • Display decision-making and excellent judgement skills
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Ability to walk, climb, use stairs, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 55+ pounds on regular basis
  • Must possess reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work within the U.S. without sponsorship
